Follow the Knowledge and it will lead you to it's source Allah (swt). The words of the Quran and teachings of our Prophet Muhammad guide us to a wealth of wisdom and knowledge. In fact, Allah calls Quran the “Book of wisdom” in many places in the Quran. He says: “A.L.R. These are the ayats of the Book of wisdom.” (Yunus, Chapter #10, Verse #1). The Almighty also says: “We have sent it down as an Arabic Quran, in order that ye may learn wisdom.” (Yusuf, Chapter #12, Verse #2) Allah sent prophets and messengers to propagate that wisdom. He says in one of such verses: “A similar (favor have ye already received) is that We have sent among you a Messenger of your own, rehearsing to you Our Signs, and sanctifying you, and instructing you in Scripture and wisdom, and in new knowledge.” (Al-Baqara, Chapter #2, Verse #151)” In its text, Quran also teaches wisdom through the words of a person named Luqman. Although not a prophet, Allah had granted him enormous wisdom. He was wise enough to have an entire chapter named after him. He was a pious person and according to the Quran was granted wisdom by Allah. As Allah says in the Quran: And indeed We bestowed upon Luqman AlHikmah (wisdom and religious understanding, etc.) saying: “Give thanks to Allah,” and whoever gives thanks, he gives thanks for (the good of) his ownself. And whoever is unthankful, then verily, Allah is All Rich (Free of all wants), Worthy of all praise. (Luqman: 12)

And we have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember... -Qur'an [54:22]

4. ALLAH’S Imperishable Revelation If all the Copies of the Text of The Quran, all Tapes, CDs, Hard Drives or any other means for preserving Texts, known to man, containing the Quranic Text were destroyed, ALLAH’S Quran will still be with mankind. By ALLAH’S Mercy, ALLAH’S Guidance will continue to be Transmitted, Understood, Embraced and Practiced, as has been done, for more than 1400 years, via Oral Transmissions. [2] 5. QURAN speaks about itself to mankind, thus: “And indeed (by revealing it through human language) We have made the Quran easy for remembrance (of God, and taking heed), then is there any that remembers and takes heed?” [54:17 – Ali Unal: Repeated and Reiterated in following Verses 54:22; 32; 40] “Will they not, then, ponder over this Quran? - or are there locks upon their hearts? [47:24 – Asad] “This Quran, assuredly, guides to that which is most upright and gives to the believers, who do righteous deeds, the glad tidings that there awaits them a great reward,” [17:9 – Amatul Rahman Omar] “All praise belongs to Allah, who has sent down the Book to His servant and did not let any crookedness be in it,” [18:1 – Ali Quli Qara’i] “Do they not, then, ponder about the Quran? Had it been from someone other than Allah, they would have found in it a great deal of discrepancy.” [4:82 – Taqi Usmani] “Indeed We have explained in this Quran every subject in various ways for the benefit of the people, but out of all creation, man is most disputing.” [18:54 – Taqi Usmani]

WHAT IS THE QURAN?

ALLAH, The Exalted has informed The Mankind thus:
“Mankind was one single nation, and Allah sent Messengers with glad tidings and warnings; and with them He sent the Book in truth;” [2:213 – Yusuf Ali]

1. ALLAH, The Exalted, Revealed and Sent, The QURAN, In Truth

“We have revealed the Quran with the truth, and with the truth it has come down.” [17:105 – Wahiduddin]

“We have sent down the Qur´an with the Truth, and it is with the Truth that it has descended.” [17:105 – Maududi]

2. ALLAH, The Exalted has Commanded the mankind, thus:

“O you who have attained to faith! Hold fast unto your belief in God and His Apostle, and in the divine writ which He has bestowed from on high upon His Apostle, step by step, as well as in the revelation which He sent down aforetime: for he who denies God, and His angels, and His revelations, and His apostles, and the Last Day, has indeed gone far astray.” [Quran - 4:136 - Asad]

There was a Sheikh who was teaching his students Aqeedah (faith), He taught them 'la ilaha illa Allah' and explained it to them.
The Sheikh loved keeping pets, so he was given a parrot by one of the students as a gift.

And with days the Sheikh started to like
the parrot.
He used to take it in his lessons, until the parrot knew how to say la ilaha illa Allah, He would  utter it day and night. One day the students found their Sheikh crying and sobbing.
When they asked him the reason, he told them that a cat attacked the parrot and killed it.
They said: Is this the reason you are
crying! If you wish we will bring you another parrot better than that one.

The Sheikh said: I am not crying because
of this... But it made me cry when the cat
attacked the parrot.
It was shouting and screaming until it died.
He used to say la ilaha illa Allah a lot.

However, when he was attacked by a cat he forgot to say it.
He did nothing but scream!
Because he used to say it with his tongue only, and his heart did not learn it, so it didn't feel it!

Then the Sheikh said: I am afraid to be like this parrot, we live our lives repeating la ilaha illa Allah with our tongues, but when death comes we forget it because our hearts did not know it.
When he told his students, they started crying in fear of lack of honesty in saying "La ilaha illa Allah".
_____
May Allah grant us " ﻻ ﺍﻟﻪ ﺍﻻًﺍﻟﻠﻪ" in our hearts and on our tongues, and the time of death.

Aameeen.
