Ya Allah take my last word
la ilaha illallah muhammadur rasulullah
Ameen.

Allah ﷻ says
هَلْ يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَّا أَنْ تَأْتِيَهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ
Are they but waiting for the angels to come to them
Meaning, the Angel of Death and his Cohort of Angels coming to extract the Soul.
_
أَوْ يَأْتِيَ أَمْرُ رَبِّكَ ۚ
or there comes the command of your Lord
Meaning the day of Judgement and the terror on that day.
كَذَٰلِكَ فَعَلَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِ
Likewise did those from before.
The people of the past are examples of heedlessness who received the wrath of Allah ﷻ eventually after continual persistence.
_
وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ اللَّهُ
And Allah did not wrong them.
because He gave them enough warning and clearly demonstrated His proofs to them.
_
وَلَـكِن كَانُواْ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ
but they were wronging themselves.
meaning, by opposing the Messengers and denying what they brought. For this reason Allah's punishment tormented them.
_
فَأَصَابَهُمْ سَيِّئَاتُ مَا عَمِلُوا وَحَاقَ بِهِمْ مَا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ
Then, they were afflicted by their evil deeds, and they were surrounded by that which they used to mock.
_
The Shaykh tells the story of a 17 year old boy who dies without the Kalimah rather by admitting and exposing his Sin right before his Death!
_
This is what prevented his lips from saying
لا اله الا الله و محمد رسول الله
_
Only Allah ﷻ knows what is happening to him in the grave, and what happened to him that day...
_
But you & I should contemplate and reflect!
How many times have we wronged ourselves by not following the command of Allah ﷻ and on top of it... Not repenting!
_
Do we wait for Death or Qiyamah like it will never arrive?
_
As Allah ﷻ says
كَلَّا إِذَا بَلَغَتِ التَّرَاقِيَ
Nay! When it reaches the collarbones
وَقِيلَ مَنْ ۜ رَاقٍ
And it is said "who can cure him?"
_
The truth is nobody can cure nor save those whom Allah wishes Death upon.
_
And He ﷻ says
وَجَاءَتْ سَكْرَةُ الْمَوْتِ بِالْحَقِّ ۖ
And the Stupor of Death will come in Truth.
_
What are you waiting for?
When Allah ﷻ says
قُلْ يعِبَادِىَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُواْ عَلَى أَنفُسِهِمْ لاَ تَقْنَطُواْ مِن رَّحْمَةِ اللَّهِ
Oh you among my slaves who have wronged themselves, Don't despair of the mercy of Allah

Repent & Worship Allah!
